After the recording of their two first demo tapes, Sadus contributed the songs "Kill Team" and "Twisted Face" to the Raging Death compilation in 1987.

Sadus' first record - Illusions - was produced by Metal Church's guitarist John Marshall and sold about 7000 copies which eventually got the band signed to Roadrunner Records.
