The band's name stems from an incident in which Loco, the original vocalist, came back from a whorehouse in Mexico with the clap and said it felt like "pissing razors."

Joe, Matt & Cesar have started a new band called The Sixth. Pissing Razors split-up in 2004 after which Matt Difabio and Andre Acosta formed The Downtrodden.
