Ominous was formed in 2009 in Tampere Finland. The founding members include ex-members from bands such as Behexen and Urn. After few years of writing and recording songs Ominous played first time live in Steelfest Open Air 2012 at Hyvinkää. With bands like Entombed, Taake and Impaled Nazarene also in the festival line-up.
