Ones of Brisbane's very first death metal exponents, Obfuscate Mass predates Misery in the extremity stakes. The band showed plenty of promise with Nyp stepping in for Tipslady. Obfuscate Mass supported Pungent Stench before internal disputes tore the band apart. Nyp formed Killengod shortly thereafter, and after a long period away from music. Craig Richards joined Hollow in 2000.
