Nemesea is a female fronted band founded by vocalist Manda and guitar player Hendrik Jan de Jong (HJ) in September 2002 (under the name "Nemesis", which was changed to Nemesea only a few weeks later) at the conservatory in Groningen. Subsequently thereafter, the band recruited Sonny Onderwater on bass and Steven Bouma on drums.
