N.Y.C. Mayhem were accepted based on their "Mayhemic Destruction" demo tape. Everything afterwards is thrashy hardcore, not metal.

"For Real" EP was recorded in November 1985 and supposed to be released by Urinal Records, but it never came out, so the band just traded those songs a lot. The initial idea was to squeeze as many songs on the EP as possible.
