Sam Plecell is not a real person. It's a hybrid name of two drum programs that Tom Persons used when recording "Shades Below" and he initially had "Sam Plecell" listed as the drummer on the Mucus Membrane website as an inside joke, but "Sam Plecell" was not listed on the actual CD booklet for "Shades Below."
