Not to be confused with Macabre from Illinois.

Macabre is really the same band as Pentagram. Pentagram changed name to Macabre very briefly in their early career and returned to their original title shortly after the release of the single.

Steve Martin and John Jennings were in Pentagram before the name change to Macabre. They had left Pentagram before the name change.
