The first notable death metal band from France.

Loudblast split-up in 1999 due to internal tensions. They reformed in November 2000 for a one-shot gig in support of Chuck Schuldiner. They eventually reactivated in 2002.

Participated with song "The Abstract God" on "Klonosphere - Free Sampler Compilation MMXIII" (2013) released by Klonosphère.
