Lobotomy started in early 1999, but by the end of the year they discovered that there were several bands already called Lobotomy, including one in Australia. So they changed their name to Chambers of Insanity and continued on.

They released one demo tape under the name Lobotomy in mid 1999.

Not to be confused with Lobotomy.
