Lebzul started the project on his own, later on Alejandro joined him. Both are active members of Spirit of the Deep Waters (doom-death) and Lebzul also makes music as a solo dark ambient artist under the Lebzul name. Lake of Depression's sound is an in-between mixture of Spirit of the Deep Waters and Lebzul.
