Founded in Gothenburg, Sweden by Finn Mikael Tanner. The band recorded a rare first demo "Essence of Dust" in 1991 in Gothenburg and Vaasa, Finland.

Started as a progressive metal band, but later on they incorporated lots of other influences into their music.
