Grand Slam are a supergroup containing members of several notable Japanese hard rock and heavy metal bands including founders Jun-ya Kato of Reaction and Kazuhide Shirota of Presence as well as Hironori "Ban" Yoshikawa from 44 Magnum, and Yoshihiro Toyokawa, drummer of the hard rock band Make-Up.

Originally named Golden Bat, they changed their name after their first EP.
