In 1994 Glenn Tipton planned to release a solo record during his main band's extended lay-off period. The first recordings (done with the help of Cozy Powell and John Entwistle) were rejected by the record company for sounding too old-fashioned, and a completely new record was made with a series of more modern-minded guest musicians.
