The real names of the band members have so far not been revealed, but Mary Goore (Tobias Forge) of Repugnant has song and lyrical credits under the pseudonym A Ghoul Writer, according to www.stim.se (Swedish Performing Rights Society).

In 2013, Ghost was forced to go under the moniker Ghost B.C. when being marketed in the US due to another band named Ghost demanding ownership for the title.
