Erzebet is a San Antonio, Texas based Progressive Death Metal band, started in 2004 by Vernon Friday and Lyle Cooper with the intention of playing intelligent aggressive music that incorporates fluid grooves, crushing chunk, technical grind, along with a progressive mindset. Vernon's younger brother Marlon Friday, and Pissy soon joined the band.
