Alboin, Cypher D. Rex, Marlek and Thalos left the band in February of 2005 to form Geïst. Geist's debut album "Patina" was still recorded under the name Eismalsott and was first supposed to be released under this name.

The lyrics of "Best Before Spring" are influenced by east-asian philosophy, the music is influenced by far-eastern scales.
