Founded by Andreas L. (guitars) and Oliver G. (drums) with the aim to combine black metal with atmospheric clean parts and a more varied, progressive rhythmic approach. After some months of rehearsing, the two musicians were joined by vocalist Grolig. Some months after the recording of "Last Artwork" in 2009, bass player Mario W. also joined the band.
