Drecksau literally means "dirt(y) sow". It is a very strong insult in some regions of Germany.

Nobbe and Micha met in 1988 and were involved musically together since. Dirk Friedmann joined in 1995 and Drecksau was established in 1996. Nobbe did vocals from 1996 until Marcus joined in 2004.
