The "first Dokken" was Don, Greg Pecka, and Juan Crouchier, who were around as far back as 1977.

Jeff Pilson along with Zakk Wylde and Jason Bonham (his father was in the legendary band Led Zeppelin) performed the songs for Steel Dragon in the movie "Rock Star".

The demo version of the song "It's Not Love" appears on the "Hollywood Rocks" Box Set from 2005.
