Originally started as a deathmetal band in 1998, then in 2001 Demyse went on a break for a couple of years reforming in 2003 by recruiting former bassist BJ (Blujah) as the singer and replacing him on bass with Trevor Dann to create what they are now.

Now known as Ritual Demise.
