In November of 2005 Gustaf announced that Defleshed had officially split-up.

Gustaf Jorde played in a band called Crematorium before joining Defleshed in 1992. The band Crematorium released one song on a local Uppsala compilation 7" on a label called Ny By Fritisgård Records. While the 3 other bands played Punk/Rock stuff, Crematorium played very raw Death Metal.
