In Greek mythology, Chrysaor ("He who has a golden armament") was the son of Poseidon and Medusa, and the brother of the winged horse Pegasus. Chrysaor and his brother were not born until Perseus chopped off Medusa's head. Was also said to be born from the neck of Medusa, whereas Pegasus was born from Medusa's blood.
