Previously known as Phex, and later shortly as Einherjer Rising, before finally settling on 'Bouq' (classical/ancient Arabic for 'war horn').

Bouq's methodology is revolving around and featuring themes from various ancient civilizations and cultures from all over the world on the project's albums.

Muhannad Bursheh is also a known audio engineer/producer in the Jordanian metal scene.
