Originally formed as a one-man band with Azog on vocals and all instruments.

The name Azog is taken from an Orcish leader mentioned in "The Hobbit" written by J.R.R. Tolkien. "Ash Nazg" is part of the inscription on the One Ring from his better known work, "The Lord of the Rings."

Not to be confused with Ash Nazg.
