The band was formed out of the ashes of bands Genocide and Asfyxia. The band was originally known as Pogrom.

Richard Mills was never a member of Arghoslent, and only recorded studio vocals on the "Nubian Archer" for the split with Morbid Upheaval.

Appeared on the "Smashing Rainbows" compilation with the track "The Ghosts of Flossenburg."
The band recorded a cover of Carnivore's "Race War" ...
