The band was formed on Halloween, 2002 by the two guitarists (Gaël Sortino and Quevin Smeyers). At first the band played Gothic styled metal, but that changed after the recordings of the first demo, when a violinist joined the band and added a folky touch to the music, as can be heard on the second demo.
