The band formed under the name "Ancient" and added the "Ceremony" adjunct upon discovery of the Dutch band Ancient.
Ancient Ceremony's first live appearance occurred in June 1992.
Ancient Ceremony's "Shadows of the Undead" is released on the 'The Unholy Bible (Cacophonous Label Sampler)'
