Jason Mendonça and David Gray formed Akercocke after the split of Salem Orchid. Gray had also formed a short-lived project called Church of Satan in-between the two bands.

Jason Mendonça appeared on Labrat's record and Hecate Enthroned's most recent album, Redimus.

Akercocke participated in the Celtic Frost tribute Order of the Tyrants, ...
