Japanese name: アイオン

Aion began as a thrash / speed metal band. Around the Magma EP, they started to incorporate power metal and other melodic influences, which would transition the band into J-rock territory by the mid-90s.

Aion was formed by Izumi in 1983, but he dissolved the band in 1985 to form Mein Kampf. After Mein Kampf dissolved ...
