They were a mallcore band, but then went to a sound that combines old Machine Head (US) with some Pantera influence as well as the clean vocals of middle-era Fear Factory at times.

Despite how the first full length "Pass Out of Existence" was presented with its mallcore sound, Mark Hunter hated being labeled as "nu-metal/rap metal" because he claims that "People were comparing us to Korn, but we never came [...]
