The band originally formed in 1993 as "Odin", but was put on hold until 1997, when they changed their style and name to "Oathean". Originally, the band played Death Metal, then changed to Folk/Melodic Black Metal and now they play Melodic Black/Death Metal.

Do-Su Kim established and runs Jusin Productions.

Ex-bassist/vocalist, Min-Su Kim, is Do-Su Kim's older brother.
