The first demo CD "To Oak Woods Bestowed" was recorded with Damnagoras in the double role of vocalist/bass player (solution also used in concert). Until Summer 2000, Zender and Jarpen's nicknames were respectively Stormgald and Dag.
Vocalist Damnagoras rejoined the band in 2004 a few months after the release of the second album, but guitarist Jarpen then left. The band continued as a five-piece - using session guitarists onstage - until Raffaello Indri officially joined in 2009. He had been a touring guitarist since 2007.
Elyghen temporarily moved to Ireland in 2007 and was initially replaced onstage by Eleonora Steffan, who plays in the string quartet on Elvenking albums. Lethien took over from her in March 2009.
