Additional notes
Originally known for their numerous cello-only Metallica covers, they evolved to composing original songs and adding some percussion and vocals to their songs.

Antero Manninen left the band after the 2nd album. However, after Max Lilja had left the band, he rejoined them as live member.

Apocalyptica in their entirety have made a few guest appearances on albums by other bands, including Cradle of Filth and Amon Amarth.
