Additional notes
Earth are considered pioneers of drone doom. They broke up between 1997 and 2003. Their musical style ranges from abrasive drone metal (Earth 2), to stoner rock (Pentastar) and lately more minimalist, meditative music on the last few albums.

The 'Sunn Amps And Smashed Guitars' comp contains, amongst others, a demo track where Kurt Cobain (famous from Nirvana) is the vocalist. He features as vocalist on the 'Divine and Bright' 7". He guested on Extra-Capsular Extraction, doing backing vocals on the track "A Bureaucratic Desire for Revenge".

Please note Kelly Canary (Dickless) has never been a member, she merely contributed session backing vocals for one track, 'Divine and Bright'.
