Biography
Steve Vai is a highly regarded, influential and Grammy-award winning guitarist, and has sold over 15 million albums in his career.Vai is a regular feature on Joe Satriani's G3 tours, and is a former student of Satriani.

His band has at various times included, among others, Mike Mangini, Tony MacAlpine, Billy Sheehan and Virgil Donati.Recorded a cover of AC/DC's Highway to Hell with cello duo 2CELLOS (Sulic & Hauser).
Played the devil's champion, Jack Butler, in the 1986 film Crossroads.
He has also appeared in Crazy (2008) and Tattooed (2008).
He is also a beekeeper.
