Biography

Kukko is a Finnish singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer who has played and recorded with dozens of bands since the early 1960s.

He founded Piirpauke in 1974 as his personal music outlet.

Trivia

Piirpauke's version of the traditional Karelian tune "Konevitsan Kirkonkellot" was covered by Sentenced on "The Cold White Light".
