Biography
Despite being born and raised until the age of four in England, Phil Lynott considered himself an Irishman and is widely seen as one of the country's greatest ever musicians.Lynott's last years were dogged by drug and alcohol dependency leading to his collapse on Christmas Day, 1985, at his home in Kew.
