George Orson Welles was an American film director, actor, theatre director, screenwriter, and producer, who worked extensively in film, theatre, television and radio.Trivia
A brief caveat late in Welles' career was being hired by Manowar to narrate on the song "Dark Avenger" from their 1982 album Battle Hymns. They used his services again a year later for the single "Defender". The song was re-recorded again in 1987 using the original narration, two years after Welles' death.
