Biography

Mikkey Dee is a half-Greek Swedish-born drummer, best known for his work with King Diamond and Motörhead. He started his music career by joining different heavy metal bands, such as Nadir and Geisha.

Trivia

Dee is famous for his long drum solos during concerts, often lasting between five and fifteen minutes and filling between songs. Dee used to play a drum solo halfway through the song "The One to Sing the Blues"; previously it was during "In The Name Of Tragedy" and before that "Sacrifice".

Both Lemmy Kilmister and King Diamond stated that Mikkey Dee is the greatest drummer in the world.
