Michael Schenker is an influential guitarist of hard rock and heavy metal who was member of Scorpions in 1972 along his brother Rudolf Schenker, and later the lead guitarist of UFO between 1973 to 1978, leaving the group and founding his own band Michael Schenker Group (MSG) in 1979.

Michael Schenker is the younger brother and former Scorpions bandmate of Rudolf Schenker.
