Biography

Joined Bolt Thrower when he was just 17 years old, replacing Andrew Whale left in 1994. Before that he had been playing in local bands (from heavy metal to reggae) since the age of 14.

He is known for his hard hitting style, probably due to having a significant John Bonham influence in his playing style.

Kearns subsequently left Bolt Thrower in 1998 due to personal reasons. He returned, ...

Bolt Thrower was the first professional band in which he played, and, due to his age, his nickname was 'Kiddie'.

He is known for his dislike of triggers on a drum kit, considering their use to be false and too easy.
