Currently resides in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada.Plays a special, custom-made guitar with the Tiamat bug on the headstock.
In April 2014, when Edlund's father died, he abruptly decided to leave Tiamat and was hospitalized, according to him, for seizures, delirium, and stroke. He re-entered the band a week later.
