Biography
Often referred to as the "Godfather of Punk Rock", Pop is best known as frontman of the legendary protopunk group The Stooges. In addition to his work with The Stooges, Pop has also released several solo albums. Pop still performs to this day, touring frequently with his backing band The Trolls, and, until recently after the death of Ron Asheton, The Stooges.
