Biography
Dan Spitz was the lead guitarist for Anthrax from 1983 to 1995, and again from 2005 through 2007. Prior to Anthrax, he was briefly a member of Overkill. He left music altogether in 1995, citing a loss of interest, and eventually became a certified master Swiss watch maker, which is still his primary occupation. He also currently leads a band called Red Lamb (formerly DeuxMonkey).Trivia
He is the younger brother of one-time Black Sabbath bassist Dave "The Beast" Spitz.From 1989 to about 1995, Paul Crook was Dan's guitar tech. Paul eventually became Dan's replacement in Anthrax in 1995.
Raised Jewish and converted to Messianic Judiasm in 2000.
