Christopher Irvine spent most of his life as a professional wrestler, where he was champion of the WWE / WWF and WCW. Only in 2000 he began to dedicate himself to music, forming the band Fozzy.


In addition to wrestling and music, he is also a television show host, radio personality, and best selling author.

Chris Jericho took his wrestling name "Jericho" from an album, Walls of Jericho, by German power metal band, Helloween.
