Biography

Axl Rose is the vocalist and co-founder of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses. Since his mother remarried to Stephen L. Bailey in 1964, his name was changed to William Bruce Bailey. He never met his biological father as an adult; William Rose, Sr. was found murdered in Illinois in 1984.
