In recent years, Alex has had minor roles as an actor. He has appeared in the 2009 vampire movie "Suck" as a border guard, and in "Irvine Welsh's Ecstasy". He has also made a guest star appearance in an episode of the Canadian mockumentary television series "Trailer Park Boys" in 2003.
