The Fartz were a hardcore band started in 1981 with Duff McKagan on drums and Blaine Cook on vocals. They eventually split up into 10 Minute Warning and the Accused. Upon reforming in 2001, Maggot Brain joined the group on bass.

Gruntruck were a grunge band formed in 1999, disbanding in 2002
