Vast Oceans Lachrymose was composed and arranged by Tom Phillips.

Original cover art Christ Stilleth the Tempest by John Martin (1789-1854).

The second track, "To Wander the Void", is a tribute to Fates Warning.
The fourth track, "Vessel", is dedicated to "THE ONE... no matter how near or far, together or apart, with undying love".
The fifth track, "Vast Oceans Lachrymose", has lyrics but is an instrumental.

Co-released on DLP by Iron Kodex Records and High Roller Records on February 6, 2010.
- 350g gatefold sleeve.
- 180g black vinyl.
- Limited to 500 copies.

Recording information:

Recorded at Salamone's Recording Studio in Fredericksburg, Virginia between April 2005 and August 2009 with additional recording at Raintrax Studio between April 2009 and August 2009.
Mastered at Salamone's Recording Studio in Fredericksburg, Virginia in September 2009.
